The Cowboys have now found themselves with key players on the injury report on back to back days ahead of the season opener. Pro bowl quarterback Dak Prescott made the injury list with an ankle injury yesterday but is reported to be fine and ready for action come Sunday night when the Tampa Bay Bucs visit Dallas. The same cannot be said for star saftey Jayron Kearse. Kearse was listed as questionable with a neck injury.

If Kearse is not able to play it may prove to be a crushing blow to the Cowboys defense. Kearse had a career year last season, posting 101 tackles, 1 sack, and 2 interceptions. In fact Kearse played so well he earned the honor of wearing the “green dot”, for the Cowboys defense; enabling him to call plays for the defense. Will update as more information becomes available.
